Tremolo effect on AFD?

Postby Mats A » 22 Jul 2011, 13:06

Read on the AFD Forum that some have a problem with the amp. If they set all controls on 6 and play on the G string on 12th-15th fret they get some kind of tremolo effect. Anybody noticed that? I have not but i havent really tried it.

I don't see how that possibly could be the amp.
Gibson R8 - Gibson Explorer - Gibson R7 Goldtop
Marshall 2466 - Marshall JMD1 - Marshall 1987
No one wants to hear 64 bars full of 32nd-notes except the douche-bag blowing them from the stage.

It should be like a lite tremolo or ocsillate according to some at the AFD homepage. I think it´s most probably the guitar.

According to the guy writing on the AFD homepage Marshall has taken his amp back and there should be a design problem with all AFD´s. They had tested all of their stock and all had the issue.
Is there any truth in this or is it just another thing being blown out of proportion on the forums?
