Volume drop at the highest gain settings

Hi,

I notice that at teh highest gain setting on the AFD mode (beyond 3 o'clock), especially on input 1, I experience a volume drop when hitting cords. Can it just be that it is too much overdrive and input than the preamp can manage? I play with some fairly hight output pickups.

Yeah it´s when you get too much gain. It´s something to do with the valves. Santiago wrote about this in some thread somewhere.

Thanks. Good to know it's not faulty. There's more than enough gain at 3 o'clock for my taste anyway :-)
