Pulled trigger on sets of Lace Gold & Seymour Duncan JB+Jazz

Postby Papus » 11 Sep 2012, 21:59

Placed my order for a set of 3 Lace Golds for one of my Strats and a set of Seymour Duncan JB Bridge + Jazz Neck with nickel covers for my SG :)
Should arrive ready for me to install this weekend.
I'll post a review and clips with the Papus signature 2061x :)

JB and Jazz is a great combo, watch the height adjustment on the Jazz. If its boomy put it lower.

Thanks Surf, I'll be sure to experiment.
I expect a lot of Kossof and early Page tones will leap out of my 2061x :)

I used to think of my JB as my Dokken Judas Preist set. The 80s hair metal is what they excel at.

Both pups are great; I had Lace sensors in my Tele; wow tone for days without that dam hum....

I agree with Jocko. My '88 Strat Plus has Gold Lace Sensor pickups. I have always thought they they sound fantastic. Nice output level and no hum, too!
Happiness is playing a Gibson guitar through a Marshall amplifier.

I know this is an older thread but I just put this set in a Les Paul and damn they sound fine. The JB just screams and the Jazz is sweet as hell. I couldn't be happier with them!
