Need P90 pickup choice advice for custom made SG and ES175

Postby wawrzul » 20 May 2013, 05:03

Hey, guys.

So in a few weeks i will have an ES175 and an SG so i need advice what P90 pickups to choose. I circled around Fralins, Gibsons, Rio Grande's and recently Lollar. I actually decide on Lollar's but problem is they have different P90's.
Basically i think for the ES175 i should take a standard (not 50's wind) for the bridge and an underwound standard for the neck.
For the SG i want something about Pete Townshend's sound (with the P90 Gibson SG Classic) with loads of midrange bark and sound of a brick wall coming down. So i was thinking standard neck and overwound bridge.

What do You guys think about that?
