Burns Tri Sonic Pickups (As used by Brian May)

Anyone tried Burns Tri Sonic pickups as used by Brian May?

I've seen a few "Maycasters" or "Burnscasters" on youtube where people install Burns Tri Sonics and Brian May wiring into Strats, gets you pretty close to the Queen sound.

I can acquire a set of Burns Mini Tri Sonics (smaller size to fit directly into standard Strat single coil) right now, or wait until October for full-size Tri Sonics (same as used by Brian May, requires cutting/routing on a standard Strat).

Anyone using them already?

Been wanting to try them but havnt.

I seen a video on youtube when i was checking into the veh humbucker and the guy had bryan may sound in a strat. It had single coils with huge pole pieces called brighton. I bought an 8k model for an SG and its pretty cool.
Inexpensive too.
