Closest pickups

Postby TheLesPaul101 » 28 May 2011, 13:29

What are the closest pickups to the pickups you would find in a vintage 1964 Gibson ES-335? I think they put patent number pickups in those but im not sure.
Guitars: Fender CS Stratocaster, Guild GAD C-1, Morelli "Flaxwood Custom"
Amps: Fender Blues JR., Roland Cube 30x
Effects: Maxon OD808--> Maxon OD820-->BBE Sonic Stomp-->Boss DD-20 Giga Delay w/ Boss FS-5U-->Strymon Flint

Dude... I know people here question what you really is about asking all detailed questions about quite a lot of equipment.
I feel you really have very little clue of where you are and try to read up on how to get somewhere. Just a friendly reminder here... you will never reach your destination by reading a map... you have to get on that road, and you will sometimes make a wrong turn... and probably before you've reached your destination, you've decided to go somewhere else... so it's back on the road for you. The map is really just to make it easier to navigate

:shredder (loved this one, so I'll use it here for no other apparent reason)

:whatever Nobody wants to be an ass buddy so I will, this forum isn't loaded with salesman, quit asking gear questions unless you seriously cannot find the answer yourself. I mean a few gear questions are cool but you are asking really noob questions everyday about basic stuff where information is easily found. Its getting irritating thats all.

I'd go with Strat single coils to really nail that vintage Gibson sound. :laugh
Gibson Les Paul R9 Iced Tea/Bare Knuckle pups
Marshall Vintage Modern 2466
Mesa Dual Rectifier Multi Watt w/bias mod
Soldano Decatone
Modded Epiphone Valve Jr.
Marshall Class 5 combo
Kustom custom shop USA 412 wWGS ET-65's
Various pedals/microphones etc.
