I'd guess that some of the IC's are just faulty and quit service.

From what I've read, it may be a combination of boosting the front end while the onboard boost is also engaged. If there is no design issue, you should be able to do this without damage. Anyone doing ths on a regular basis without damage, or confident enough to try it and report back?

I did that by accident a couple of times without issues.
Also I'm running two external boosters together at times, no problems whatsoever.

Hello,
My Yjm has again the same problem!
I just have him(it) to disconnect more to reconnect, made an autobias and later I have a rotten sound. Completely I just have a clear sound (rather ettouffé) without distortion...
The ampli did not go out of the room
This time the ampli is not any more under guarantee and I am not shure that even once repaired it is going to hold more than year without breaking down.
What is that the Marshall has a solution to solve this problem once for quite? Or go I have to part from this ampli for reasons of reliability?
But an amp so fragile it is not reassuring... Good thing I do not use(get) it in concert

Help me please

hello,
i sent a email using the marshall'site and I sent a letter directly to the headquarters of the company.
I think the letter was more efficiant...
they sent me for free repair kit (it is a known problem that has been fixed) but it must be set up by a professional preferably.
