Santiago -YJM Bias Questions or anybody else that really knows the proper answers.

1) When biasing YJM does it matter weather standby is on or off.
2) Should EPA be turned off when biasing or should set it to where I like it? Does it even matter?
3) Should I let YJM warm up first before biasing?

To answer your question, NO. None of that stuff matters because the auto bias has completely separate circuit which warms the tube to the correct temperature and the circuit bypasses the standby switch. It is all explained in the thread I have linked here.

Whenever I turn my AFD on I run the Auto-bias, when it's complete I hit the standby and I'm good to go. I never turn the EPA down. Even though the answer is no to all of your questions, I just find it easier to run the auto-bias on start up as I would be waiting for the tubes to warm up anyway before I took the amp off standby.
