YJM Help

Postby kgp1 » 13 Aug 2012, 07:39

I am new to the board and I have a YJM100 and a quick question. I tried to run the amp clean with a boost running through the front of the amp. The tone was horrible. Am I doing something wrong? Any advice would be appreciated?

Since the YJM already has a booster, what were you looking to gain over what the built in booster wasn't giving you. Also it will make a difference running the pedal into a single input then when you have the inputs jumpered.

Also, some pedals (even boosters) can sound better in the loop.

It is a gray spec modded YJM308. I just wanted to hear the difference. I am not jumping the channels, but I do have the volume dimed.
