Song recorded with the YJM100

Postby bulwaraid » 26 Mar 2013, 01:48

Hi guys, I have the YJM since it went out, and used it on every gig I did with my band where I sing and play, this song was recorded using only the YJM100 with the guitar plugged on input 1 and channel jumpered, I use epa about 11/12 o'clock and everything maxed, and I can't be more happy with the amp :-) , hope you enjoy it.

Your recording rocks, I like it. If you have the chops the YJM can really sound great...I think you did a very good job recording it. How did you capture the amp?

Wow, that really does sound great. Hope you don't mind, but I've embedded the video here so that it's easier for people to see it...

Thanks for doing that aristotle, I for one couldn't watch it before.

Well done bulwaraid, that was a very polished recording and performance from the band. Great tone from the YJM, I love this amp!

Thanx for embeeding thhe video I couldn't manage to do so :beerme .

Everything was captured in a studio situation, the guitar had 3 mics 1 at center of the speaker, 1 at the edge and 1 in between speakers. The cab is a Marshall 1960 A.

The thing I like most of this amp is that if you want sounds nothing like Yngwie, but when you wanna shred you can dial Yngwie setting and there is. An amp that can sound with the proper overdrive or setting from clean, blues, rock, hard rock or metal it's so versarile. Every time I plug it I can't take the smile of my face some people said they don't like it, but for me it'the perfect amp. :beerbud
