Ha, well spotted John, yes he also demo's Hughes and Kettner amps. A great old school rocker, but with the skill to shred too, He just uses a 61 Strat all the time, and all the mods he's done to it are on the signature guitar I have. Neck like a Baseball bat, but yet comfy and very playable. I love it, but it is only a cheap guitar like a Squire strat price.
Designed by Trev Wilkinson, and so has the Wilkinson trem and pickups. The bridge has a dummy humbucker (stacked) with the second coil not powered, but its circuit helps reduce the 60 cycle hum and also just fattens out the tone when needed, and this is switchable with a push push Tone pot. Yamaha owns the patent on Push Push, and its way better than push pull.
Anyway, you own the YJM Strat, so that must be a wonderful guitar for you! and better quality.
