Yup, that is what I was thinking too. The tone Al had in his clip was pretty close to Gary Moore's tone on his Blues For Greeny record.

That's a good idea. Not sure which one to try for this tone though, I have a backing track for "The Loner" but that's a neck pickup tone on the lead.
