Satriani's Rig

Postby djw171 » 11 Oct 2013, 03:08

Went to see Satch last night, got the meet and greet ticket so got to go onstage before and check out his gear. Just thought I'd post a couple of pics.

I saw him last month in Nashville and really enjoyed his show! I was in the audience right in front of that rig... my ears are still ringing!

Yeah I was front row, superb sound in that venue and Satch is just amazing. A really nice guy too. The meet and greet he took time with everyone & signed what they wanted (signed the back of the headstock of my JS700). (Tubestack this was the Kitchener gig too). Went the following evening to Toronto as well, just as good. That was my 15th Satriani gig. Interesting on his pedal board you note he doesnt use the Saturator or Ice 9 pedals anymore which means the Marshalls are giving him all the drive he needs. They do sound really good.
