I recently picked up a JVM HJS for a great price. I agree with the subdued pick attack, but just an FYI, a few very simple mods gets the pick attack some feel the amp is lacking. As Santiago stated, he designed the amp to meet Joe's needs, but with a few simple mods I feel the amp can become the ideal amp for those wanting a more traditional feel/response. I'm modding mine to be a bit more traditional sounding to fit my needs, and it's been very rewarding so far.
