Is the JVM board still around? They'd probably be able to help you more than us, I know the designer of the JVMs used to frequent that board (like Steve D does here).

Good luck Geramie.

I had a weird intermittent "squealing" issue with my old Laney VH100R. I thought it was the tubes or something but it seemed to go when I wiggled the jack in the socket, so I took it apart and re-soldered the input jack in case it was a dry joint and never had the problem again.

Although having said that Marshall repair centres will know a LOT more than I, and Id be suprised if they overlooked something that simple.

Good luck with it.

Effect loop swicthable???

Postby Rono » 26 Dec 2009, 11:40

I would like to make the effect loop on my 2266c footswicthable. That would take place of my reverb switch. And turn on or off the loop, I leave may reverb on all the time and have no need to turn on or off. Has anyone done this mod ??? Can this be done ??? Thanks
