I've had it happen twice when I was younger and less wise. The gun wasn't the problem. The terd holding the gun was the problem. I don't fear guns. I fear people. If there were no guns, I'd still fear people. People are dangerous. I respect your opinion on the subject though. I feel that a person who is uncomfortable around guns, or has a fear of them, shouldn't be handling them. Safety first. Be it a gun, knife, car etc.

My guitar gear collection isn't nothing compared to my weapons collection. It is easy to agree that people are absolutely the problem but I also understand why so many hate guns.

What I find with many people is it has much to do with how and where you were raised. That has a lot to do with gun ownership and at what level. Also lets not forget that many people on this board who live in countries other then the USA cannot even own a gun or are very regulated on what they can have. I look at guns the same way I look at reserve fuel, seed, fertilizer, medicine, and other commodities.

To some none of this makes sense, look at the video below of Ted at his home and maybe you will understand better. At 6:32 he brings out the fun stuff, if you own one you will understand. At 3:15 there is a place where he says "STFU Sting" pretty funny.

As much as I like the smell of burnt gunpowder, when maybe target practise. I've never killed anything larger than wild duck and don't own a gun anymore. The thread is about keyboards and sampled pop music, that make us rockers supposidly look like dinosaurs. But we all know where its at when the band is in full swing and the house is rocking, non of that pussy pussy bullshit, just real men with balls!

I fully agree that the gun is not dangereous by itself, just the asshole holding it in his hand with the intention to kill or hurt! It's never a gun that kills people,but people...
So maybe I'd better put it this way : I hate assholes with guns with bad intentions! So it's better! My father was a stock-market brooker and his office was twice being bank-robbed by some A-holes who were too lazy to work for their money! I was there as a kid, so, since then I know what it is to face guns (Kalashnikovs), and I hope never have to anymore! That's why I over-react sometimes when it comes to guns and the fool behind it!
Of course there are serious people (thank's god) that does not have all the bad intentions when they hold a gun...but,hey, I was always attracted by Mahatma Ghandi's non-violence way of life! Should be soooooo easy for mankind!

That was one of the oddest things I have ever seen. Definitely falls into stupid crap you should not be wasting ammo on. I would say someone so immature about a fire arm should not have one. I have a friend who wants to get guns specifically for target practice (not any real use like hunting) and I constantly berate him about looking at guns as toys.

Against those who don't care who they hurt in life. It's sad, but people hurt and kill other people all over the world everyday. I don't want to be a statistic.

Are you really arguing taking it out to shoot a keyboard is not using it as a toy? I never said you have to hunt. I live in Canada, we cannot carry, and your guns have to be under tight lock and key even in transport they are supposed to be trigger locked. I am a pretty solid believer that gun crime is not done with legal arms by citizens who think like you, but Canada has very different laws.
