I there also to a point. What I enjoy doing is taking a lead sled and making a sleeper out of it. My last sleeper was a 95 Camaro with a 3.4 60 degree engine and since its not a big and popular engine not allot of aftermarket stuff. When I ran the first time down the 1/4 mile it ran a respectable 18.3 seconds.... lol After doing loads of work and no HP adders like N2O or supers were mounted only work done was to the actual engine like headers, catback, shave the heads, larger cam, increased fuel jets, Filpk (K&N) installed and finally reprogram the OBDC PC with these mods I ran a respectable 14.1 seconds at E Town. I installed a Holley wet N2O system although never went back to the track and did any runs since I moved from CT to Ms. I did nothing to the outside of the car so it looked like a normal Camaro. When I got on it the car smacked many 5.ooooooooo's
My newest project is my Mustang with the 3.8, although I am only using official Ford power adders so I dont void the warranty. I am really excited about the new Mustang also yet it requires super only and I really hate the rear of that car. I would love to swap out the 3.8 for the 3.5 Eco thats rated at 305 HP. Not bad for a 6cyl, my 73 Mach1 with the 351 didn't have that much power from the factory.
