I really do not know how long they will live. Not much is known about this breed since its not as sexy as a Tuna or other sport fish. He has been in this tank for a few months and has doubled in size already. I did not realize how much bigger he is until I watch another video I taped in June when I released the Sea Robin in the tank. This fish was the same size of the Sailfin Catfish and now he dwarfs the catfish and is easily double the catfishes size. They have been in the tank the same amount of time.

Cool! We used to have a sweet coral tank with a lot of florescent fish. They were always dying. One day we came back home from dinner to 10 fire trucks at my house. The light in the tank decided to fail and filled up the kitchen with smoke. That was the end of the tank. Damn shame, it was beautiful.

Sorry to hear about that. I had a exciting night last week due to one of the Blue Crabs. It was my big female and I was sitting in my Lazy Boys just like I am right now. Then there was a slight loss of power and the house lights went down and the TV turned off. Kinda weird although I didn't think much of it. I went to feed the tank beofre bed and noticed my female wasn't in the tank. I looked behind the tank and she was laying on the power strip and she was slightly red and two legs burnt. I disposed of the body and counted my luky stars I was home and there was no fire. Damn stupid crabs..... lol Least I have some of her babies, hopefully stupidity is not genetic.
