Value is always subjective and yes the 50th series are premium priced but it always comes down to what anything is worth to you.

I paid $1200 for mine which I thought was OK, still expensive, but OK?

As I said in my original review, the cab is great and the set provides me with the best dirty blues rock tone I've had from any amp/cab/pedal setup I've had so the asking price works for me :yea
Be good... or be good at it!!!

$1200 is a lot better than $1500.
$1500 at 5 Star in Ringwood. I didn't even consider talking down the price because i knew i wouldn't buy it anyway.
Knowing the markup on musical goods, i would have offered maybe $1100, and they would still be making hundreds on it.
(years ago i bought a 4 track cassette recorder. $1200 retail price, i paid about $700, and when i got home it still had the shops invoice stuck on the box. The shop bought 12 units at $299 each and were selling them for $1200 each)
