Great news .. I'm picking up the JTM today and told my shop to order the JMP as soon as it comes available !

great demo surf!
am sold on the tone but the amp does sound a little noisy when used as a preamp in your video.
how bad is the hum on high gain?

trying so very hard to come up with a reason for the missus on getting another amp...

Its not bad at all. I had the master to 50% on the JMD and the gain turned up on the JTM so there will be some noise, not bad at all.

Very Nice Indeed Surf!!! Great sounding demo, I'm thinking I gonna wait to hear about the new announcements, then decide if I want the JMP, I like the JTM, alot more gain than I thought originally, but love the look and the tone of the JMP

Steve can speak more to the design specifics and inspiration of the JMP1 when released at Frankfurt. It is different then the JTM1 and is the only one of the five to have 2 tubes in the power section .vs 1. This allows for some tone tweaking if desired.
