JVM1H - short circuit in the speaker cable

Postby kurtz » 19 Apr 2015, 12:30

I bought a new JVM1H. I plugged it original speaker cable and left it for 10 minutes.
I want to play, but I found that the original speaker cable is short circuit!!!

...so far the amp operate normally,
amp could be damaged?

Probably not. If i read you correctly you didn't play the amp you just had it on. Was it on Standby?

I didn't play, the amplifier was turned on (power on for 10 minutes), the volume was 0
I connected the guitar for 10 seconds, there was no sound, turned off the amp
I checked the cable ... short circuit

If it's brand new it's under warranty, take it back and get the cable replaced.
