Loud Pops switching channels

Postby xmacvicar » 01 Dec 2012, 08:41

On my 6100LM I am getting a strange occurrence. I'll do my best to describe it.

Switching from channel 1 to 2 or 3 is fine - no pops. If I am on channel 2 and DONT PLAY anything thru the guitar, and switch to either 1 or 3, no pops. However, if I am on Channel 2 and PLAY SOMETHING through the guitar then switch to either channel 1 or 3 I get a loud "POP" sound. Anyone have any ways to correct this?

Do you have any pedals in your chain while this is happening? If so, try doing it with just your guitar going into the amp.
