I know, but the add says the footswitch works.Anitoli wrote:Always curious if the channel switching works on these deals. If it does that's not bad at all.
The 6100 cured my GAS for amps (except another 6101 or 2), going to sell 6 or 7 of the amps sitting around here gathering dust.longfxukxnhair wrote:DAMN! I would pull the trigger on that if I didnt just buy a Bogner Uberschall
Go ahead, try and hide from the UBERSCHALL it will seek you out, relentlessly, while you sleep, in this life and the next... But all will soon embrace the UBERSCHALL and we will wonder how anyone tried to play standard tuning, 7-string or drop tuned guitar without it. Through anarchy comes peace.
No. I picked up a Uberschall pedal and that is what did it for me. I really want a Twin JetMike_LA wrote:The 6100 cured my GAS for amps (except another 6101 or 2), going to sell 6 or 7 of the amps sitting around here gathering dust.longfxukxnhair wrote:DAMN! Best of luck with the Uber amp.

I saw the one posted and a 6100lm and jcm 800 1960 slant for $800, firm, in Chicago. He was the second owner. The amp was a late 92, I believe. I live in Pittsburgh and was considering taking time off work to go fetch it. I wish I had worked more overtime in the last few months. That would be mine if I had. Anyone in Chicago is getting a good deal from what I saw. Working foot switch and cosmetically in reasonable shape.
Speaking of being buried with something:longfxukxnhair wrote:jeffsmusic4919 wrote:Seeing the love you all have for this(these) amp(s) in the last couple months you have made me want to find one. The 6100 is an amazing amp! While I own several amps and want to add a few more, the 6100 is the corner stone of my tone. I run it with other amps. I plan to be buried with it.
This one is gone. Here is another in Chicago:Mike_LA wrote:Hi gang,
Just a heads up, I was searching around and found a 6100 for $560 in northwest DC.
Seems like a good deal if anyone is in the area.

Oooop 3 bids, unless the bidders can fix amps we'll probably see them here soon ...Mike_LA wrote: I'm following one on fleabay right now. I was going to bid till I contacted the seller.
In the auction he says that the footswitch went out so his tech put a knob on the back to switch channels.
Humm on the back, who is going to go to the back of the amp to switch channels while playing?
Took me a min to figure out the front buttons don't work either, he didn't mention that.
Contacted him and he said that the tech bypassed the midi.
Hoping it's reversible , think I might let it sit and offer him $300 if he doesn't find a sucker to buy it for his price.
