Pretty impressive don't you think. That is just sick.

'When I Don't Have Anything Interesting to Play, I just Play Fast' But then who wants to hear 64 bars full of 32nd-notes except the douche-bag blowing them from the stage.

I saw Zakk with Judas Priest several months ago and I can verify their awesome . They fill the whole stage . On the other hand Priest didn't have a visable amp anywhere . I was center stage 20 yards out , and the PA was pointed straight at me . It's the first concert I ever had to shove shit in my ears to survive .
I know it's only rock and roll , but I like it .

Same setup he had when I saw them last year. When the stage lights went down all you could see was tube glow. Funny he has all the signature Marshall's but the real amps producing the sound are offstage. I suppose every big touring act does that now to prevent the real 'money' amps from getting damaged
Amps - Marshall VM 2266, 425a, Soldano SLO-100, Galt Musical Instrument The Mason 5 (1955), Fender Super-Sonic 22 Combo, Orange Brent Hinds Terror, Garnet Herzog, Custom 1x12 w/Celestion Vintage 30
Guitars - 2007 Gibson Les Paul Standard, 2014 Fender American Standard Telecaster, 2014 Fender American Standard Stratocaster, 2013 Gibson SG Standard, 2014 Epiphone Casino, 1997 Ibanez RG470

Yeah, I wonder about that whole thing, too. Slash does that, too. I wonder whether it is just a product endorsement eal. It is kind of silly, you know? Back in the day, the guitars didn't go into the PA, and a Marshall stack was necessary to get your sound out in a large arena. Other than the fact that a nice wall of amps makes feedback an easier thing to do, they seem almost entirely cosmetic.
Happiness is playing a Gibson guitar through a Marshall amplifier.
