to me the 15 and 40 watters seem like a reworking of the Haze idea.
I have a Haze 15, and i find it to be quite a good amp. Reliability has been good so far (18 months in).
Maybe the Haze didnt take off because people knew it was made in India, but if you say i got a DSL15 (yes made in Veitnam) people will just think Marshall DSL, 'yeah they are good amps'.
But the 100 watt? Why?
The faceplate looks cheap, why not just reissue an English made DSL head, and not this. The MA series is made wherever, and now the DSL is made wherever. Why choose a MA over a new DSL, or vice versa. You are getting the same build quality, which will be seen as 'crap' (rightly or wrongly).
I cant see the 100 wt head taking off.
