Not only will the TSL deliver more gain it has a deeper voice then the DSL. I love my TSL100, however I don't think channel 3 has seen the light of day for a few years, that crunch channel 2 is baddass on the 100 watt. I know many love their DSLs, never was an amp I got on with.

+1 for the TSL100. I didn't like the Lead channel too much until I did the mods from here
