Voiced very different then the JCM1 and of course the sl is a 2 channel amp. The sl is also louder but the same as the jcm in 1 watt mode. The sl would be more flexible for sure.

I'm considering looking at this combo or the new DSL40c. Does anyone know why the Slash doesn't include an effects loop? It would almost sell me on the spot. I use the effects loop often for delay and sometimes a noise gate.

Not to get off the topic here, but cant think of his name.....but did'nt that guy used to play in the band GRIM REAPER back in the 80's. I had a cassette of them, not bad...but they were pretty big in the UK I believe.

Still a pretty darn good player, but always amazes me how some rock stars dont even look like rock stars anymore!!!

Yup - from memory he did a bit of writing for guitar player mag as well (or was it guitar world??)
