Changing From OD to Clean Problem

Postby maxamus » 27 May 2014, 04:09

I just picked up one of these babies recently and from first impression is it's a really cool little amp the clean is very crisp and there is a pretty of gain on the overdrive. One thing I have noticed is when I change from the OD to the clean channel it makes a very noticeable pop noise and I'm wondering if this is normal with these dual channel amps, or did I get a dud one. Cheers

Cheers Surf, if this noise is normal then that pretty much wrecks the amp for me, who wants to be playing a nice crunchy lick then flick back only to hear a popping noise as you strum a nice clean cord . I think mine will be going back. Thanks

Maybe try spraying a bit of contact cleaner in the switch before you send it back
