2061X - Stereo input...

Gents,

Got a (hopefully) simple question for you... and I think this will do no harm, but I just want to check with you guys first...

I'm working on a pedalboard with a stereo setup... meaning that I want my guitar signal to go through the entire signal chain for the main amp...
However, before any overdrives (and after the way) I have a Strymon Lex pedal... This pedal is great, but works best if stereo'd to a secondary amp...which I wish to be able to do...

The plan is that the secondary amp is used dry... with a little tube saturation only... but when the Leslie effect (Lex) is activated it will effect both amps.

So the question is if I can use the 2061X for stereo effects... I know I can jumper the channels, but can I take the signal from two different places on the pedal board and with this use both channels at once?
I don't mind any thoughts on if this is a good solution... that I can try out for myself as well... but I just want to damage anything...

Yes you can, being that the amp is not a true stereo 2 separate amps you may get some cancelation or phasing problems with the sound as they are mixed together

Some guitarists inject reverb, delay, echo between the Bright and Normal channels when jumpering channels to approximate an effects loop and the 2061X is no different in this respect. :beerme

It won't even come close to a good stereo amp setup.

With (2) 2061X heads and (2) 2061CX cabinets you surely can!
