15" speaker in a 1974x?

have any of you tried putting a 15" speaker in the 1974x? is there room to do so?

No way man, it just is not going to fit. Also you really don't want to butcher up such a nice amp as the 1974.

I would consider having a cabinet builder build you a matching 1x15 cabinet. You can decide to run the amp with the stock 12in and the 15in together or just make the 15in cabinet the same ohms and you can disconnect the stock speaker and go into the new cabinet. A JBL would sound very huge with that amp.

my idea is based on the Peavey Delta Blues. that little amp sounds MASSIVE with its 15. also, with a decent tech, replacing a baffleboard need not be butchery. but if there's no room, there's no room...
