Changing the speakers in a 1958X

I have no idea why I even thought of this or why I did it!

I had a set of 30 watt Greenbacks I was going to return to a vender but my head started telling me.... "Those Green Backs are going to sound much better than the "Stock" G10F-15's"!

WTF was I thinking????

If you are like me and for the slightest reason think that your hand wired 1958X 18 watt Marshall will sound slightly better if you switch the speakers out, just....

DON'T DO IT! It's nothing more than a waste of time and money!

I basically wasted 250 bucks for the same sound and less volume. What a disappointment and what a learning experience! Celestion G10F-15's are incredible speakers! I swear! I am switching back to the stock G10F-15's and selling the barely used greenbacks.

I have seen G10F-15's for an average price of around 50 bucks. Thinking hard on a 4 X 10 cab loaded with these incredible speakers!

Anyone looking to buy some Greenbacks with less than an hour on them?

I love the those little G10F-15's I find them very balanced, they are a green back without the green plastic covers. I switched out the G10N in my JMP1 for one, have another in a JCM1 and JTM1 OFFSET and one in a Class 5 cab. I use them with all my amps, thought about making a 4 x 10 with them, I keep an eye out for them.
