Standby switch question

Postby Alpha Blues » 20 Dec 2020, 21:07

I just want some expert advice on this. When I switch the amp into standby it takes a second for the sound to fade, which seems normal compared to other tube amps I’ve owned. But what seems different is when I switch the amp off it goes back to full volume and starts to fade out...is this normal or does it indicate something wrong within the circuit.

Normal. Roll the guitar volume down before you turn off the standby and you'll never hear the fade out again.

Thanks! It doesn’t bother me I just wasn’t sure if it was normal or a sign of a problem since none of my other tube amps acted that way.
