VERY short clip of my band

Postby ClassicRock88 » 17 Jul 2017, 06:38

Here's a really short clip (14 seconds) of my band's latest gig. It was taken by one of our bass player's friends so it's him in the video, but you can hear the Germino :Thumbs

Settings were: Presence 2, Bass 3, Middle 6, Treble 6, Bright Volume 6.5, Normal Volume 2, Hotplate at -8 with no other controls on the Hotplate engaged. Feedback is encouraged (no pun intended). I really like the overall tone but I would like for the individual notes to pop a bit more.

Thanks Surf. The drummer sent me a longer video of that song so I'll try to get it up tomorrow. You're right! You've (hopefully) never heard that tune. Our bass player wrote it and that was our first time playing it out! I get lost right at the beginning and I'm sort of watching him for where we're going!

First we need to see tits in these videos :boobs :boobs

It is good to see you guys doing your own music, some say that is the quickest way to lose the interest of clubs who would book you, I think otherwise. Your originals is a measure of where you are as a band, anyone can get up there and rip the classics.
Thanks for posting.

Thanks Surf! We play some covers but we agreed early on that the band wasn't going to be background noise at a bar. That's where the money is but we all would rather have a few fans that like our music.

Keep doing your own thing. Cover bands that get big did so because they stopped playing covers.

Anitoli - thanks! The drummer and I are both Who fans and we have discussed the fact that they started out as a band who played some covers but pushed their own songs too!

Cousin - Thanks man. If you like the stuff I have three songs we recorded. If you want to PM me your address I'll burn a CD for you and drop it in the mail. I can email them too but it will be three emails.
