VM with Fat Boost 2

Postby classic rock » 16 Aug 2008, 14:30

I just got a Fat Boost 2 pedal and I am in love with it. For the most part it blows my Keeley TS9 right off the pedal board. I never really liked my Les Pauls with the TS9 only my strat so thats why I got another overdrive. Its great for a boost in volume but also for overdriving. It works great with my Burstbucker Pros, the pedal really responds well with my volume pots. I love how it has a separate bass and treble knob so you can really shape your tone unlike one tone knob that the TS9 has. Anyways I put a clip of it on myspace.

check it out its fat boost 2

You have to love Fulltone pedals, that is a nice tone.

I had a Fat Boost 1 for quite a while, great pedal. I replaced it with the RC Booster because of the seperate bass & treble which helps a lot with tone sculpting. Not sure how the Fat Boost 2 & RC compare but I imagine they're pretty similar.

I was thinking about getting an RC but I wanted a little more overdrive. I love the fat boost 2, it is always on. I dont know how I was playing with out it. The tone I am getting now is right around where I want to be.
