more hendrix from the Needletones

Postby zippy_fantastic » 09 Sep 2008, 08:12

here's a link to our band website, with a youtube clip of some hendrix-medley-fun

not our best, it was Sunday! Had been playing pretty much every day that week.

The sound click above it is from a jam night and not done with a VM. I think it was a 59 bassman. With Gibson SG and tube screamer....and no reverb....so yeah, mistakes are nice and easy to make out. Those amps sound so square don't they!! It scared me a little.

Youtube clip is VM all the way. Fun fun.

Yeah! Full stack is the only way to go ;)

Looks like great fun and really nice playing too!

Did you have both cabs plugged in?

Thanks chaps!

only bottom cab plugged in, it's only a small place....only I had both in the van so.....

vanity!!!!

I want to hear two vm's together, one on high with a 'toppy' jcm800 kinda sound and one on low put pushing pre-amp hard, aka hendrix plexi sound.

.....Can anyone here boast of such an experience?
