My playing my new Gibson SG on the neck pickup, through my Marshall Vintage Modern 2/12 combo. Playing some swing type blues. Love Gibson SG's.

Thank you. Well I sold my R8 for almost the same amount as I paid for it and was able to buy a used 1994 Les Paul Standard in ebony, which is my favorite color in brand new condition, and a 2008 brand new Gibson SG standard. I'm alot happier now. I put the WB pickups in my new Les Paul and a lightweight alluminum tailpiece, and the Les Paul sounds every bit as good as the R8. And it's alot easier to play, because the neck is more my size. And I've always wanted an SG Standard. Two guitars for one.! Oh and get this, one of the reasons I did this was because of the deal I got on the les paul, $650.00 for the Les Paul. WOW!!! Never going to find a deal like that again. And $1400.00 for the SG. WB Pickups have shown me once again how much better they are then anything else I've tried. I'll be doing a clip of the Les Paul soon.

Very nice Shane, thats great everything worked for you with the selling of your R8 and finding a great deal on the Ebony Les Paul. I love when stuff like that happens. I have a Ebony Les Paul Classic with zebra burstbucker pros, absolutely love the look. Nice clip really like that style of blues, liked how you turned it up with the SRV/Hendrix style licks.
