Vintage Modern and Sobbat Drive Breaker Video Test

Postby antoine » 19 Jan 2009, 14:45

Here a video i've done using my gear, the amp is a VM 2266 plugged into a 4x12 Marshall loaded with 2 Celestion Marshall Vintage, and 2 Celestion G12H-30 in a X pattern.
The pedal used is a Sobbat Drive Breaker 1, and the guitar is a Fender Telecaster Richie Kotzen Signature :

That is a good thick tone coming from a Tele. It is that "Bad to the Bone" tone.

Yes, i like this Sobbat DB1, and i love my VM head so much, i'm comming from more than 10 years playing my Mesa Boogie MarkIV, but since 6 month i have the VM, i only play it, different tone than my Mesa, but damn so good, so vintagely delicious :D
BTW, i play the amp in Low Range only and with no MID BOOST
