First Clip Post.

Postby zappatista » 26 Mar 2009, 11:19

This clip is just me having a sloppy old school jam with my new band. We had 2 guitar mics and a room mic, so everything aout it is a hack job!

But I still thought we captured a slice of the VM I haven't quite heard on some clips yet. I'd imagine Mety probably kicks my ass though!

I just set up new computer speakers, so IF I did it right, THe Vm is in the left, A '78 JMP 50 watt with a really funky assortment of speakers

is in the right. ANyway, the solo is me with the VM. I'll post some more clips once we get the tunes fine tuned and we get our recordings ironed out.

Mix and recording aside that was cool, good little rocking original. The two amps work well together in the song. And yes the VM was coming out of my Left side.

I would love to hear the DSL and the VM run together in stereo on your side :rocker

What was the wah you used in your solo?
My Gear

That was a Dunlop Zakk Wylde wah. Not the most transparent wah you'll ever meet. It's thick as hell and will totally take over your sound! I had a Fulltone Deluxe before this, like all things that have tons of adjustable parameters, I was always tweaking it, and was never happy with it.

That tune was actually just a quick idea that we threw out and jammed on, I think it may find it's way into an actual song later on. Maybe our own take on "The Zoo" by Scorpions!
