Lemon Song with VM

Postby Gary0214 » 26 Apr 2009, 22:25

here's a recording from a jam earlier today. i was using a gibson les paul 2008 '58 reissue into the VM 100 watt head into a marshall 1936 cab. i may have turned on the ibanez tube screamer for some of the solos...and i used an occasional electro-harmonix delay for some licks. i used the high dynamic range and my settings were...

master: 2 o'clock
presence: 100%
bass: 0
mid: 0
treble: 100%
detail: 1 o'clock
body: 0

this was the first time i used the VM at high volume and i spent zero time adjusting the settings. i just used the settings that sounded decent to me at low volume condo playing and went with it...so there's room for improvement at some point...

Very nice, real close to the original tone of the song.

I just listened to this and I swear on my life I like your tone better than Page's. It sounds like you have a little more meat to your tone.
