Another VM Spied on Stage

Postby Gixxalee » 21 May 2009, 13:00

I was just flicking thru vids on youtube looking at one band in particular, called the Answer. I noticed just toward the end of the vid, the Marshall stack had the very distince Blue power light! :Thumbs yet another great band using the VM and this is the sort of music and band setup that suits it down to the ground IMO Next time I'm putting a band together this will be the main structure of it! Hopefully the video link will work so enjoy :yea

Yeah, they opened for AC/DC on their tour. I noticed the blue glow immediately! :party

i dont know about you guys but i dont these guys are all that great. I mean it seems like the best they've got is the worst that Led zeppelin brings out.

They were ok live. Of course they went on right before AC/DC and that may have made them look worse than what they were.

I dont go much on that song or video, but I got their album "Everyday Demons" and I love it to bits. Its a lot more blues/rock than rock/blues (if that makes sense.) Until seeing that video I never got the Robert Plant connection, but there is a bit of that there. Not really a bad thing though IMO.

I have "Rise" (their still non-U.S. released first album) and it's pretty good. I don't really listen to it much because the singer does get on my nerves after awhile. He's a great singer but just not my style. The rest of the band is pretty solid.
