CODE Connectivity

Postby surfnorthwest » 29 Jan 2016, 06:30

Here are a few solutions to connect the CODE to devices and other amps. You can use either the Headphone output or the included Mini USB output.

These solutions are more for the 25 and 50 watt combos as the 100 watt combo and head will already have a factory 1/4 output.

This cable will go from headphone out to XLR in. Use this to connect to a mixer or powered Speakers

USB A Female/Mini 5 pin (B5) Male Adapter. Use this to connect to the CODEs USB output which is USB mini. This converts from USB mini to USB then connect a USB to 1/4 cable into an FX Return of another valve amp.

ClearClick Guitar to USB Cable. Use this with the device above to go USB to 1/4 in.

Hosa Pro Stereo Breakout Cable, 1/8" TRS to Dual 1/4. Use this to go from the headphone output to stereo inputs, would work best for A.D converters.

Livewire 3.5mm TRS-1/4"(M) Patch Cable. Use this to go from Headphone out to 1/4 input which can be connected to an FX Return of another amp.

It's only a matter of time until someone manufactures a 100w power amp with Bluetooth & USB inputs...... :)

What about connecting an USB audio interface or external sound card to the USB port in the amp? Does it would work for using it as monitor while sending audio signal to a mixer o PA?

There are some cheap of these that would not increase the total purchase price (amp + interface). I'm thinking in something like:

Behringer U-CONTROL UCA222
Behringer U-PHORIA UM2 2x2
Sabrent USB External 3D Stereo Sound Adapter

Does it would work?
