when they dialed in the JVM OD preamp, they forgot to disengage the boost, that was used when the 800 type tone was demo'd...

I bet I can make the thing sound good. :cowbell
(not being cocky,but as much time as I spend w/ sims,modelers,vst's,alt. amp rigs,etc..)
keeping it loud- JMP-1 rack,LPs,strats,& way too much other gear.

I agree Blues. I've been thinking the same.
In the Andertons demo, the external clean boost he used on the Plexi, fattened it out just right.
It needs something like that to make it sound closer to the real thing on most preamp settings.
