NAD: Code 25

Postby oasis02 » 02 Apr 2016, 13:07

Arden's came through, and the amp was delivered today.

So far, it's a mixed bag. I've run through all the presets and done some adjusting to the amps I really wanted to hear.

My purpose for this amp is a "spare" in the vein of the Yamaha THR series. For that purpose it is excellent.

To compare, I've had a few of the Fender and Blackstar modelers. If you want Marshall...get this.

With minimal adjustment, you can get really cool JTM45 and '62 Bluesbreaker tone. "Plexi" is death by a thousand cuts, until you get into the EQ.

After some de-coding is done to the factory EQ, I will report back.

Nice to see these finally getting into the hand of players. For the price I think they will be a lot of fun.

Thanks, can't wait to hear back after you try some of your own presets. I'm familiar with the Mustang I, I'm curious how it compares? Maybe post a clip after you're settled in with it?
