Kemper Process -

Postby jaguarguy » 26 Jun 2017, 05:00

For those of you that have not seen the Kemper profiling process here is a video that was shot on the run in my mancave - I know it's profiling some of my "classic" Zs and not my Marshalls but hey, that's what he wanted! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZaXyA0hDOwQ

Outstanding!

The profiling process operates as I suspected - a sequence of impulses to measure the time-frequency domain, and various forms of pink and brown noise to measure the EQ curve.
Are these test tones generated by the profiler, or via the laptop?

I can capture a mic'd response to these tones through my rig if somebody can supply the audio files.
Dime that puppy!!!

The profiler actually generates the tones - my wife thought something broke when she heard it! Extremely loud! Jim has the files loaded onto his webpage if you want to hear more of them - he has quite a few there.

I run my master full on when making a profile. I have to wear my hearing protection when doing it as the noise that is makes is deafening.

I am afraid someone will call the police and report a UFO landing. That is what it sounds like.
