You should really look into an eq

Yes an EQ gives the VM its stock tone, just boosted! natural amplifier dymanics stay intact with the EQ!

The Fulltone OCD is the best overdrive ever!
Yep, I love it in LDR as just an overdrive and in HDR it is a great boost (it pushes the VM over the edge) . I haven't had a chance to try an EQ pedal but I want to because I keep hearing good things about it.chooseyourblues wrote:Orbis_Mortis wrote:OCD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is this good in line with the amp on the HDM setting?
If I were to use a EQ pedal do I put that in line also or in the loop?
Some people prefer the loop, its too thin sounding for my tastes, people like Slash he uses his EQ via the amplifiers input.chooseyourblues wrote:Slashwannabe1 wrote:+1 agreed!Nickyd wrote:I highly recommend an Eq and not an overdive for hdr.

Ok, i don't in anyway want to change the amps tone , just a little extra bite and cream to cut through and give me extra sustain. Do i put in line with the input (all i use is a wah) or in the loop?
