Re: Fulltone fatboost3 help

The Fatboost is a great pedal but was never meant to be a pedal for lead boost. I use one only to fatten up my Tele. I would search out a clean overdrive.

Re: New Song Recorded using the new JMD1

I am really looking into getting this amp. The clip does not sound digital at all and I am suprised by some of the gain that can come from the clean section. Thanks

Re: Ordered a Class 5 Today

So one has to think that maybe Marshall has worked out a final solution for the problems that many of the early Class 5 amps had. Knowing Sweetwater they probably held off there orders until they were confident the issue had been addressed. This still would not sway me away from making sure my sales...

Re: Vintage Modern vs JCM 800

A JCM 800 is a totally different beast and I would say the eq is more responsive. But it really depends on what 800 you are talking about becasue there were so many different models. I love the early 2203s but I think the VM is way more flexible than any 800.

Re: Full stack volume

I have two 2466 amps and I use them both because I move around on stage so much. Ones on the right and ones on the left, plenty of projection.

Re: VM tone starts with good pickups

No. The bk pickups are a bit hard to get here in the USA and cost a lot of money. I got the mules based upon some recomedations and the are perfect on a Les Paul. I would like to go somewhere that you could try pickups like you can pedals but that place doesn't exist. Don't think anything hotter tha...

VM tone starts with good pickups

Having two 2466 amps I have been able to A/B them with different cabinets and different pedals. In the year I have had my amps I have come to the conclusion that great tone with these amps starts with great pickups. To my ears a bad or the wrong pickup can really cheat you on what the amp can delive...

Surf, Jimi can be known for putting a Voodoo Chili hex on you for doing that to him. You better watch your back for the next few days or play Little Wing without a single goof. If you can do that Jimi will forgive you, Angus might not.

Re: great clip of Super100H!

It is a sweet amp, I actually got to try a used one out a few weeks back and it was a monster. Dealer wouldn't break up the full stack so it was out of my price range. I wouldn't say it is "much" better than a Metro, I would say they are pretty damm close. Maybe one day I will be lucky enough to own...

Judging by the crazy freak women in that video would explain the rather large population of gay men in Seattle. I bet that girl who was screaming went postal on a few guys in her time. Wow.

Still no USA stock

I gave up on buying this amp a few weeks ago because nobody could tell me when they would deliver it to me. I guess here it is now almost Christmas and still none to be had. Marshall should kick Korg in the nuts because they lost a sale with me. Going into LA this weekend to try amps I know are for ...
