My 2266C had a power tube take a dump. Amp tech told me he didn't have any KT66's on had so he recommended 6L6's. Is this ok?

Also, while in the store I saw a good deal on a 1960A cab. Is this a good match?

I also have the MXR 10 band. I was curious on how I may use this to get some kick ass tones at lower volumes as I can't crank it were I live.
