Re: Stories abut bringing the amp home....

Oh it hurt when he passed and I had no idea why until later I looked up the med on the internet and this is yet another Pfizer drug. I didn't even cry when my ex and mother of my children walked out on us decades ago; and we were all the better she did. I am just happy my daughter was home at the ti...

Re: Stories abut bringing the amp home....

Now I can get into some GSD Porn........... And I really do like the JMD, so far the only real issues about the amp I dont like are cosmetic but I knew that going into the purchase and its not a biggie. Here is King; he passed away a few months ago from a dose of Rimadyl. I never knew how bad it was...

Re: Its finally here

But I miss my red light................. lol Its cool also noticed the non English amps don't have the white line around the head either. So its been a few hours and I have to say one thing for sure its a decent amp. IMO the best effect in the amp has to be the noise gate; I love it. It turns those ...

Re: "Slaming Door"-effect...used in "in the evening" by Led

While not the answer its like the effect on the beginning of Burning Sky (Bad Company), they maxed out a reverb on a old amp and kicked the crap out if it. Or so the Urban Legend says..........

Re: Thought this was cute

Sad thing about this picture is that this was taken in 85 time period so this young lady is a little older now. I lost contact with her father in the 90's during Desert Storm; she should be around 30 now.......... This is my grand daughter with my Gibson Raw Power SG in front of my very cloudy (it w...

Re: Stories abut bringing the amp home....

Thank you for the kind remarks, I did my time (retired AF) but I worry for all those in now that includes my children. My son is a Marine NCO and my daughter is real close to getting her commission to become a good ole butter bar (its because she can't hack it as a NCO, lol). I had one of those many...

Its finally here

The amp got here about two hours ago and my UPS driver really hates me........ lol Its sitting all pretty on top of the Marshall 4X12 next to the 5150 Half stack and at the risk of sounding like a buttwipe; damn they look sexy next to each other. Had a chance to play for about 2 hours with one of th...

Re: what would you do?

Too bad your not open to other mfg's, I love Ibanez Prestige guitars and have a few. They all have a H/S/H pup set up and they do the both tones (Hum and Single coil) very well and can be purchased with hard tail or tremolo. They will run around the cost of a decent American Strat to allot more; IMO...

Stories abut bringing the amp home....

I grew up in Peavey land here in South Mississippi and back in 82 I joined the Army; after a few years of being who they wanted me to be I decided it wasn't for me so I joined the USAF. After tech school I got my orders for RAF Lakenheath and the first few things that popped into my head was Pink Fl...

Re: Pinup Waterslides

I believe that sometimes decals and such adds life or personal touches to your guitar. Here is my 20 year old Ibanez RG550 next to my newer Ibanez RG770DX. http://gulfcoastpharmaceuticals.com/Bro.jpg On the lower part of the 550 is a Tinker Bell that I purchased at a local store that specializes in ...

Re: Some of my toys

Thank you; Yes I love that SG its 100% maple except for the metal and plastic. It has a brighter sound than a normal but that can be controlled by the tone and it has a hybrid neck not like the 60's SG type necks but not as large as the LP 50's. I love it...
