Re: Happy new year!

Happy New Year to all and hope everyone had a Merry Christmas. I stayed home for New Years between the redneck gunshots and cannons and fireworks it could have been a combat zone. I had all the dogs in my room and several killer Pits shaking so much they appear to have worse PTSD than some veterans ...

Re: Midi controller question

Jeff I have played music most of my life; I have used LIne6 floor pods since the XT was released. This midi thing is a new adventure for me and I am quite confused with all the options. I for one would not use the TC with the JMD since the JMD is awesome all by itself. I purchased the midi controlle...

Re: Schecter Blackjack C1 FR S Sustainiac

So you lose all neck pickup functionality? I don't understand how it does it, but no you still have a neck pickup. What I believe happens is the pickup functions as a normal pickup with the sustainiac turned off; once its turned on I believe the pickup splits with the on and I can still use the nec...

Schecter Blackjack C1 FR S Sustainiac

Not a NGD have had this almost a year now but love the effect. Older guys might remember the Fernandez guitars came with this effect; I love it. And for under a grand its got a great feel, made in Korea and not Indo and has a decent floyd installed already. I also still love my 2013 LP Traditional.....

Midi controller question

So I have finally entered the world of midi, geez looks like I am going to have to hire a teen to do the programming for me. I have a TC Electronics Nova System and I love the system. I also just purchased a BEHRINGER FCB1010 which I have read loads of reviews and it appears to be a decent system bu...

Re: Paris

Like all I have very strong thoughts on this subject. I am also a individual who was deployed for Desert Shield/Desert Storm. I lost friends in the desert who will never breath again. I am a 100% Medically Retired from the service. I served in the US Army and USAF. I was adopted as a young child fro...

Re: Marshall Nazis meet Amp1

You can be Solid State with transistors and still be analog; which is exactly how I believe they get that little stompbox to work. There is no visible vents for even a 12AX7 but a few transistors and a type"D" Rating Power amp would do it all. I have a Tech21 Trademark 60 (actually two) and they are...

Re: Marshall Nazis meet Amp1

Its a OK sounding unit with zero info on the Tubes used, it just might have one tube in it and its not full on tube or it would be way larger. I think its a OK unit but way too expensive for a hybrid amp since thats exactly what this is.

Re: "Classic guitar tones" question/discussion..

My opinion is those early guitar tones are great because they are just so pure. No massive pedalboards, racks or whatever. Good instrument into a great amp and volume. Also, the players had nothing to help them or pretty up what came from the speakers. You could either play or not. So, without all ...

Re: National Black Dog Day

Sorry been in the hospital with the leg so I have not been very active here. So please excuse the late post. This is PJ, a Pit with bite history because her former owner tried to starve her to death. Since my program is a registered rescue we were able to pull this young lady before she was put to s...

2016 Gibson's

While not looking for a new Gibby just looked over the line and appears that Henry may be listening to us. Looked at a few LP and not one had those stupid auto tuners, they had standard Grover Tuners.

Yes, about frigging time.
