And if you take a close look at the tolex you’ll realize that it has indigo blue colour with black staines which make it look purple.

Once, I ordered purple tolex in hope to get same colour like on my VM. But colour I got was very different.
It was purple, not indigo blue with black stains

It sounds better when a little hot bias is set.
Of course someone might like it better when colder.
I never got two sides to be very close.
Right now mine is 43 and 48.
